Up for sale again (due to a Non-Paying Bidder pink-1111) is a 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL VIN: WDB1070461A003597. (Had to enter another VIN in the ebay form because the ebay system would not accept the correct information for this car because it is a Euro market version). The Mercedes 500SL is rare in the U.S. It's faster, more powerful, and much harder to come by than a 380SL, 450SL, or 560SL. So if you are looking for an SL, make sure you are comparing apples-to-apples. This car runs and drives very well and is in very good shape overall. All floorpans (left, right, trunk) are solid with no rust through (see pics). The car includes working A/C, leather seats, new brakes, the original Behr radiator that was re-cored recently, new fuel tank, new windshield, new Firestone tires (less than 200 miles), and the original spare with 5th Mercedes wheel. Also includes the hard top; which is in very good condition. The soft top is in decent shape however the plastic windows on each side have holes. I have a brand new high-quality BAS cloth soft top in box that can be included for an additional $100 to the high bidder. Seats are in great shape with no rips in the leather. Known issues are stuck odometer which happened during the last 80 miles, and non-functioning fuel gauge. There is a scrape on hood from a stone. Factory equipped with ABS an airbag, and a fire extenguisher (holder still in great shape and attached to drivers seat). Remember this is a Buy-It-Now and Best Offer sale.
