1972 Chevrolet 1/2 ton C-10 pickup. Long bed 2 wheel drive. 350 engine, turbo 350 transmission. I am the third owner of this truck. It was bought locally new, traded in around 1975 and has had the same owner up to the point that I bought it this year. It had been sitting since 1999. I aired up the the tires, put in a new battery, and an HEI. replaced the plugs and wires and fired it up. I have also replaced a valve in the A/C and put new shocks and exhaust on it. Everything works on this truck except the windshield washer and the cigarette lighter, the A/C is cold, the lights, the horn, the dome light, the wipers, the gauges all work. The glass is all in good shape. The dash pad has one small chip in it and the seat needs recovered. The front bumper is a little tweaked. It has disk brakes in the front and tilt wheel. The previous owner repainted it in the 80s. I believed they did some patch work around the rear wheels and may have replaced at least one rocker panel and cab corner. It has rust in both rockers and cab corners as well as the bottoms of the doors. The rear cab mounts look good but the front ones are rusted. You can see them pretty well in the pictures. Overall in terms of rust it is pretty standard and I have seen a lot worse. It runs and drives well I have put about 1,000 miles on it. It could use a set of rear tires. There is no reserve. This is an excellent truck. It has not been tampered with, everything is still there and where it belongs.
