1969 Honda ct 70.Has been with me since 1971.All original. Everything. It Has never been restored, and all parts are original except the battery.It runs as good as the day I got it when I was a kid.This was the first year they made the ct 70,and I bought it 2nd hand from friends of our family at the time.It was like new when I got it.It only had a few hundred miles on it.Starts on 1st kick and runs and shifts through all the gears very smoothly.Doesn't smoke and no motor work has been done on it ever.We just did the maintance that it needed over the years to keep it up,and running well.It only has 5,499 original true miles on it,it has never been in an accident.It has the original seat on it ,it has some tape on it now,(see pics)but foam underneath is good and it is still comfortable.It needs a headlight bulb.It even has the original tires.Brakes work great,and it is a 3 speed transmission and it's an automatic.It was made in sept. of 69,and remnants of the chrome dealer sticker is still on the chain guard.The paint has a few scratches that were touched up over the years.It is ready to ride now.You know,I rode this to work before and when I turned 16,and it was my only means of transportation,I couldn't afford a car or the insurance at the time,and have been addicted to 2 wheels ever since.Bicycles and motorcycles.It has never let me down, or left me stranded anywhere.A true survivor,and whoever buys it will love their purchase,and will enjoy it for years to come like I did.It is street legal,and is great for back roads around 40 to 45 mph.Vin#CT70-118760.I no longer have a title for it,and it will be sold with a bill of sale.As is,where is,no reserve,and the buyer is responsible for shipping and pick-up,I will help load.Payment due 5 days after auction ends and buyer needs to contact me for payment and pick up arrangements within the week after auction is finished.The bike is for sale locally as well,so I have the right to end the auction anytime.Bidders with little or no feedback,please contact me first before bidding(207)363-4909.Feel free to e-mail me, or call me with any questions,and also if you want to see it or stop by during the auction, if you are fairly local to here it run.Thank you.
