VERY LOW RESERVE! My wife and I have unfortunately run into money problems so I am forced to sell my truck. This truck needs absolutely nothing at all to use as a nice daily driver. I have gone over every system and replaced anything that needed to be replaced. All the fluids are fresh, the tires have great almost new tread, brakes are almost new, plugs,wires, ignition, rotor, cap, module, coil, all new. This was the top of the line silverado model back in '85 and the only option it does not have is 4 wheel drive. Truck has A/C which works good, power windows and locks which function fine, and a CD mp3 player has been installed and the speakers have been replaced. I have run antique tags since ive owned it but still have it inspected. Inspection is good until 08/11. I have all of the original paperwork from the original owner, all in great shape and in the glove box. Even has original warranty cards! Truck had a z-bar treatment when new which prevented it from rusting out in the usual places. Only rust is on the cab corners, only on the outer part, inner is solid. Very cheap parts to buy and easy to have done. The rest of the truck is completely solid. The underneath looks more like an '05 not an '85. Brand new Edelbrock 600 4 barrel carb installed and tuned, as well as timed. Starts and runs great, has a good rumble sound, and drives down the road very straight and smooth. No wobbles, no hiccups, no excuses. It is the way it should be. There are some dents, dings and scratches on the outside but that is to be expected for an original vehicle that is 26 years old. Paint is still shiney but getting kind of thin. The inside of the truck is in good shape with no tears, but the seat and carpet have numerous stains. The dash pad had cracks in it so I ordered and installed a new cloth dash cover. Only leak I have seen since I have had it is a small drop or two every now and then from a power steering line, but I have never had a problem with it. In fact I just drove it to richmond on the interstate and had no troubles at all and got about 18 mpg's! Has dual gas tanks too.
