1983 Honda CR

I am selling a 1983 Honda cr 480..I bought it in a yard sale,It did not run at the time.. Don't have a lot of history on the bike..The guy I purchased it from, bought it in a storage unit along with other things..The bike has a cracked rear fender,chipping paint,faded paint.a few welding spots.several dents, a few dents in the exhaust pipe.The bike is HARD STARTING.I usually have to hold the throttle about half way open and and kick it many times. or start it with a little ether..once it starts, IT RUNS WELL..AND WILL IDLE,SHIFTS THROUGH ALLTHE GEARS... I have cleaned carburater,put in new pilot jet,new air filter. and had the front brake housing welded so to have front brakes,as well as rear brakes...this bike is a 480cc,2stroke,4 spd transmission.and is extremely fast..Anyone who has ridden these dinasaurs in the past knows.I make NO GUARANTEE OR WARRENTY as to the condition of the bike If you have any questions contact me ..I will NOT sell for parts as of right now..If the bike is not sold....I will consider selling for parts.As they are hard to find now...The bike is located in Richmond va..I will be out of town 16 17 18 july.I will put a buy it now price of $675..I have no way to deliver it this week..maybe next week.I will not ship.you can make arrangements for that....If you have any questions ,you can call ..804 525-4368 or 980-622-0703 I do NOT EXCEPT PAYPAL..Thank you for looking Robert added note:7/11/11...someone had wrote in saying this bike may have a 1982 engine on it. because of the 4spd transmission,they had said 1983 had a 5spd..Thanks Robert
