Up for sale is a 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL VIN: WDB1070461A003597. (Had to enter zeroes in VIN space because the ebay system would not accept the correct information for this car because it is a gray market import). What you need to know about this car is that it is solid with no rust through, has a solid engine, solid transmission, looks and runs well. That alone makes it well worth the price here. This car runs and drives very well and is in very good shape overall. All floorpans (left, right, trunk) are solid with no rust through (see pics). The car includes working A/C, leather seats, new brakes, reconditioned radiator, and new tires (less than 200 miles). The soft top is in decent shape however the plastic windows on each side have holes. I have a brand new soft top in box that can be included for an additional $100 to the high bidder. Seats are in great shape with no rips in the leather. Known issues are stuck odometer which happened during the last 80 miles, and non-functioning fuel gauge. There is a scrape on hood from a stone and a windshield crack.
