Vehicle Detail

I have for sale my 1970 Dodge Charger project which was originally a lime metallic car! This car is a great foundation to begin a restoration. The car does have the typical Charger rust which you can see in the photos. Nothing out of the ordinary, just the typical rust you find in these second generation Chargers. The frame rails are all in good shape from front to back. The car will need a trunk floor and the front floor pans will need to be patched (where the driver and passenger’s feet are). The passenger side quarter panel will also need to be replaced and there is some rust around the rear window area that will need some attention. The remainder of the car is solid. The roof and driver’s side quarter panel are overall in good shape. They are certainly very useable and can be worked. Also, the rear valance is solid and not rusty. It does have a pretty good dent on the left side though, but a good body man can repair it. The doors are also solid and do not have any rust issues. The doors are useable and can be worked and straightened up. I’d estimate that about 80% - 85% of the Charger is there. It comes with a disassembled 440 engine and a 727 transmission. Everything included with the car (except the rear bumper) is pictured. I do not have a front clip for the car. My intentions were to convert it to a 1969. Therefore, I was simply going to purchase the ’69 front fenders and hood from AMD. The ’70 was a good looking charger, but I preferred the ’69 and with the AMD sheet metal it’s an easy conversion. If you have any questions please ask. This is a project I’d love to spend some time working on, but I’ve got too many other things going right now. The car is sold as is, no warranty implied or offered. The successful bidder is required to send a $500 nonrefundable deposit within 12 hours of the end of auction via PayPal (other methods may be discussed and agreed upon prior to bidding!). If you are not able or willing to meet these criteria, do not bid until you have discussed options with me. So, please ask all your questions prior to bidding. The balance of the auction is due in full within 7 days of the end of auction. I prefer PayPal (for the deposit) and a postal money order, certified bank check, or cashier’s check for the balance. All funds must clear the bank prior to release of the car. I would like the car picked up within 30 days of the end of the auction. The buyer is solely responsible for arranging the pickup of the car.
