You are bidding on a 1930/31 Model A Hot Rod fiberglass 5 window coupe. I started this project in 2001 and worked on it through college, marriage, and kids, but now a cross country move for work is forcing me to sell! This was originally a tudor sedan but after completing 70% of the body work, I decided a 5 window coupe was the way to go. The frame is original but has been boxed for strength. The body is the most beautiful fiberglass job I have ever seen. It is steel reinforced and has core mat insulation in the floor, top, and fire wall. The doors and trunk are hung with hidden latches and the doors are reverse. I also have all the window glass, the rubber, and front and rear fenders with running boards attached. The body is in the gel coat. You will not be disappointed. There are absolutely no air holes in this body. Every thing was hand laid and rolled out on a rotisserie. The molds were prepped well and polished so there is very very little seam work to be done. The body has not been bolted to the frame yet as the rear shock mounts need to be moved toward center about ½ inch each for clearance. There is a 2x4 under the body to lift it in the pictures, so when the shock mount is adjusted the body will set lower down on the frame. The frame was set up for an original body so you may need to adjust the body mount position slightly, but is an easy fix. I also have the fiberglass fenders and running boards brand new, but I do not have pictures of them right now. The motor is a Ford 302 5.0L 87-91 Model. It is a crate motor and only has about 4 hours of total run time on it. I believe it to be approximately 300 Hp in its current configuration. If you add the aluminum heads, I think you will see somewhere around 360 Hp. It has 4 wheel disk brakes, and an automatic Ford C5 tranny. This car has all of the hot rod gear on it. I have nearly all of the receipts and an excel spread sheet with most of the parts and the part numbers listed. This car will not take much more to finish, mostly a little of your time and some interior work. This is a great car to finish and will make a very nice driver.
