This stunning vehicle has been driven less than 20 miles since its 2 1/2 year restoration. Over $40,000 was spent on this loving restoration which included the use of the finest materials available by one of the most respected shops in the country. During the extensive restoration process, every nut, bolt and part on car was taken off and either cleaned, painted, chromed, fixed or replaced. This Isetta 300 features the 298cc cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine matched to a 4 speed manual transmission. The entire drive-train was removed and rebuilt by a vintage BMW motorcycle expert to the highest standards and now looks and performs like it did over half a century ago when it left the factory. All metal work was done properly on car, no bondo filled repairs on the car at all. The soft top was crafted from the same material used on Mercedes Benz. The meticulously crafted interior appointments are made from the finest leather. The seats and trim are accentuated with beautiful cream piping. 6 complete additional hides are available in the event the new owner wishes to refinish the interior up to 3-4 more times. Custom floor mat was crafted to match the other interior trim. The fresh paint is a modern PPG coded color and an extra can is included with the sale. A few upgrades were completed during the restoration process including the removal of front and rear bumpers (front bars were re-installed), removal of front fresh air grills and removal of wiper. All of the modifications could be reversed by the buyer if they desired authenticity over aesthetics after the sale. There are currently only 2 minor issues with the car. The first is that recently the plastic worm gear inside the odometer broke and is not adding miles to the car. I have parked it and not drove it after that. 2nd is that the generator light is on. It was determined that this is just a loose wire to the light as the charging system is working fine.
