I am selling a nice 1969 MGB. It has been in heated storage for 11 yrs. Before that, it was kept in Hawaii. I believe that the 69 may be the first year of the triple wiper car. I am told that 69 had the 'high back rest seats'. It runs, some of the electrical is working, brakes work, good tires, has the factory hardtop and is a very straight original car with original paint and no bondo. I went over the car with a magnet and it in good shape. There are no bubbles in the paint indicating that rust is not starting on the surface of the car. The rockers look like new and the floorboards are rust free. It also has a new complete black carpet kit from Moss ($400). The motor sounds strong when running and has good oil pressure. It spent most of it's live in Hawaii. If it was on the down wind side of one of the islands, that would explain the lack of rust. No rain, no rust. The factory hardtop is some what rare and in good shape. The bad, it needs an exhaust pipe, the fuel tank has a leak. It needs to have the clutch bled as there is air in that line. I tried, but my back finally said enough. I have not driven it, but have no concerns about the drivability. The suspension seems very tight. The convertible top frame and jack are in the trunk. When is was towed to my place the driver put a small kink in the LF fender.
