This is a 1940 Buick Super Eight Sedan. NO RUST. This vehicle runs, drives, signals, honks and stops under its own power. It even has the factory spare tire in the trunk. The Buick has been in our family for the past seven years in running condition. We received it from the original owner. It was revived from a very long stent of relaxation in a dry barn in the Portland Oregon area. The Buick is in amazing original condition. The interior is factory original. The exterior was painted blue around 40 years ago. You can get in this car and drive it 100 miles in its current condition. The OHV Straight Eight cylinder engine fires up every time, builds good oil pressure and does not smoke. The clutch works good, and the transmission shifts smoothly. The car goes down the road nice and smooth. It is running on 40 year old bias ply tires that run true and are hold air. This is a true barn find if there ever was one. The glass is in good shape with some light hazing around the edges. The exterior lights are in nice shape and are not faded out. If you are looking for a fun old car to drive and restore at the same time, this is it! I have a copy of the original service/owners manual that will be included in the auction.
