1960 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe While the 1959 Cadillac is the epitome of the gaudiness and the audacious fintastic 50s, many persons prefer the more subdued, less ostentatious styling of the 1960 Cadillac. Not only is the 1960 Cadillac distinctively different in appearance, it also featured several mechanical and functional updates including front needle bearings, spin on oil filter and automatic parking brake release. Fly in and drive home.* Features / Condition: * 51,000 miles * Power Brakes * Car runs good; 390 cid V8 engine. * Transmission shifts smoothly. * New battery. * New mufflers. * Carburetor freshly rebuilt using Viton (ethanol-resistant) components. * Looks to be original glass; no cracks. * Power antenna works, radio turns on - may need speaker. * Headlights, turn signals, running and brake lights work. Dash lights work intermittently. * Basically a very solid car; consider it a diamond in the rough. The car looks like it was originally black but was repainted red several years ago. Floors and trunk appear to be very solid. Has some easily repairable rust in lower front fenders, rockers and rear quarters - very common areas for these cars. * The previous owner had many upgrades and maintenance performed including adding a dual-reservoir brake master cylinder and new brake lines front to rear. * Interior is original; use as is until you decide to have it reupholstered, etc. * I have driven this car quite a bit without a problem; several hundred miles this season. In fact it has received many compliments at club meetings and shows. * A buyer could fly in and drive it home.
