1973 FORD MAVERICK ALL ORIGINAL This is an original 1973 Ford Maverick that came from the original Owner in Plant City Florida. The State made Grandpa quit driving so the car was sold. The car was originally white but was repainted blue several years ago. The car is solid with very little rust. The floor pans are solid and the car has been in Florida since new. The car had factory air but the compressor and mechanicals were removed because the owner thought it would get better gas mileage. It has a none factory am/fm cassette radio but everything else is stock. An original owners manual is with the car. The engine is a 6 cylinder with an automatic transmission. I cannot tell what size the engine is. I have tried to photo areas that show slight rust and I noticed that in a hard rain the windshield leaks. The seats are slightly worn and there is one hole on the drivers back and a few small pin hole in the back seat. The headliner needs to be replaced. The engine starts and runs well and the car drives great. The right mirror is missing. All of the chrome is straight, original and is only pitted in a few areas. All of the doors, hood and deck lid are straight and line up well. The hub caps are original and the tires have plenty of tread but are not brand new and show no cracks. The engine does not seem to leak any oil or water but the exhaust may have a slight leak which I cannot locate. Needless to say a Maverick is a real attention getter. I have been to a couple local car shows and everyone loves it. This car would make a really cool street rod!! I am selling the car as is with no warranty.
