so before i begin, this is a new account that i just set up but if you want to check my feedback i am also on ebay as seller name hamptonsman...i have a perfect feedback but i had to set a new account due to someone trying to access my account.ok so here goes....this is a 1965 Corvair convertible that has been sitting in my garage and is now time for someone to actually use it...i am a car freak and really love all cars...i bought this car about 2 years ago and starting having the car completely restored ...car was stripped to bare metal and entire interior and carpet removed as well as the top...engine and transmission were gone completely thru and if anything was needed it was replaced ...new shocks front and rear were installed as well as all new bushings...brakes were gone thru and all new wheel cylinders replaced and brake shoes ....new hardware for emergency brake as well....the car was painted back to factory color and only high quality materials were used....car had almost no rust on it before we started the restoration but car was even primed using a polyster primer then ppg paint and finally ppg clear was applied...a complete new interior was installed and new carpet as well..the trim on the car was all treated to complete polishing as well as many new pieces if they weren't up to par...new headlights, all new bulbs,hoses,and lenses were installed...car was completed at an expense that far exceeded what people would spend but i really wanted the car to be nice...it was then parked in my garage and here it has sat since ...car does need new tires because i never got around to having them replaced...the rear window for some reason has gotten a slight fog to it and could use replacement...i do not have the boot either just forgot to order it...i have had various Corvairs over the years and enjoy them a lot but due to renting out my summer home i lost my garage space and am now selling of a whole bunch of my toys...any questions please feel free to call 631 831 2354 and ask for jimmy...he is the person that restored this car for me and i am sure can answer any questions one might have...i travel often for work so it is easier to get in touch with him....this is a beautiful fun toy that needs a good loving home...i have done all the hard work for someone to just enjoy this treasure...good luck as i am going to make this a no reserve auction because the car must get sold and moved within the next week....
