First, I want you to know that I love this bike. I have to sell it because all of my friends went and had kids and now I have one on the way. It seems that kids are the death of motorcycles!! Anyways, this is a 1998 Honda VLX Deluxe motorcycle. It is 600CC. The Deluxe version of the VLX has more chrome and I added A LOT more chrome parts to this bike. I paid a lot of attention to the selection of parts. A lot of people just go crazy and put on whatever they can that is chrome, no matter what it looks like. I paid special attention to making sure all the parts flowed together. There are chrome screw covers, chrome radiator grill, chrome oil stick, chrome rear tire angle cover, chrome on the regulator, chrome control covers on both sides, chrome brake fluid cover, and chrome front caliber cover. It also has braided throttle cables for added support and wear. The air filter cover is chrome as well. This bike purrs like a kitten. It is very smooth and nice to ride. The bike sits low so it's easy and very comfortable to ride long distances. I recently changed the oil and filter, put in a new battery, and had it inspected 6/25/2011. I also installed chrome mirrors and a louder horn. I really love this bike. This bike has wide ratio gears. That means less shifting when starting out which is a treat, believe me. No more shifting 5 gears to get to 35MPH. This bike has a FAT rear tire. It looks AWESOME. This bike has two spark plugs per cylinder for a sure spark each time it fires. You won't have any problems starting this up in any weather. Unlike other VLXs, this one has some of it's aluminum polished. Polished aluminum is BEAUTIFUL and looks like aluminum chrome. It takes a lot of time to polish out aluminum and really adds to the beauty of this bike. The color is rare to this bike. I have never seen this color on a VLX before. I am the only owner of the bike so you don't have to worry about where it has been. I have never abused it and I've never driven it hard. It has 4,761 miles on it which is nothing for this bike. I have so much fun on it I hate to sell it. It has two saddle bags so that you can store things like water or food for longer cruises. There aren't many flaws on this bike. It can easily be fixed with touch up paint. The bike is available to be checked out and test driven if you like. I live in 16066.
