Here is a "at one time" a very nice 1985 BMW 325E that I am selling for a friend. We picked this car up recently and started fixing it up. The other day I found her a newer car for a GREAT deal so she has decided to let this one go! It does need work and does not run "at the moment". I am not a mechanic but I was told by mechanics it needs a new coil. The coil that is in it, is bad. I originally was told that it was the 'DME" (computer) so I replaced the old one (common problem) and still no spark! As far as I know it has been sitting for a year or more and will need some work, however the gas does NOT smell bad to me. I have never had this on the road but it looks like it has potential to me. There is some minor front end damage as pictured. I do have the missing headlight (new), and the front mud guard to clean it up a little. I believe it has the 2.0L i6 121hp X 172ft/lb torque engine in it. VERY high tech for 1985. It is rear wheel drive and looks fairly clean rust wise (look at pics). It has electric windows, locks, cruise, etc! The sunroof works, distributor spins. I priced an aftermarket coil/ignitor at Oreily's @ $67.00 last week before we bought the newer cavalier for a commuter. I need this car moved ASAP and am starting at a low number. local pickup only unless you want to pay my gas to Joplin Mo and I will meet you there with the car!! I will take $250.00 before the 30th if someone is interested. The car can sit here for two weeks after purchase. Buyer is responsible for all shipping related ideas. I will be headed back to Idaho the 29th and possibly Joplin Mo after that. I do have access to a car hauler but will require gas please (To and from). Thanks!
