I'm the second-owner of this truck (I believe). I bought it back about 1990 and drove it as my main vehicle for a decade. In the late 90s I took it off the road as I got married and had kids... Needed more seats basically. It's been sitting still since then. We HAVE started it every once-in-a-while and drove it off road some. My nephew was the last one to drive it around about 2 years ago and it ran fine for him. It has not been started since then and I have not tried to start it to sell it. I did tow it and the engine is free. Unfortunately the keys have been lost so the steering column is locked, so keep this in mind when you come to get it. I remember dropping a rebuilt engine in this at one point and suspect that the new engine has about 50,000 miles on it. The engine is a straight six and turns easily when towed. It has a 5 speed manual transmission and I believe the transfer case works well also. To my knowledge the truck has never been in a major accident, but I did hit a deer with it once and had to replace the cowling and radiator. There are some small dings on the body. There is also a significant amount of rust here and there. The doors are in very good condition and so is the hard top. I think that the ideal buyer for this truck is a collector who would like a good restoration piece or a parts machine. It is not being sold as a road ready truck or one that will be road ready without a lot of work. This truck has a clear title but I can't find it. I do have the last registration card and can get a replacement title from the DMV if someone wants to split the cost of the title with me. The title is $60 so for $30 I will go get the title. I probably can't be around when you come to pick this up so you will have to come prepared to hook it or flatbed it on your own. I will try to schedule this so I can be around but scheduling will be tough. It is located in Alloway Twp., New Jersey 08001.
