-1970 OPEL GT Sports Car .Remember that you are bidding on a 40 year old vehicle. It has been referbished , looks and drives like new. It has a couple of small paint chips on the left front and left rear fenders, Paint looks new. No body rust.Solid floors. Garaged and pampered. Clear title. Headlights roll perfectly and are adjusted to fit precisley in up and down position. Original " Opel Blitz " hood emblem in perfect condition. All lights are NOS HELLA - not reproductions.. Original Gas cap ,locking type. Same key as ignition. Rear window vent shade. All chrome in decent shape ( original equipment ). New Hood rubbers. New vinal door moldings. New windshield and rear glass molding. $500. value to be installed. Original dashboard with small crack. Also a dash cover. Original sun visors in like new condition. New headliner and floor carpet. New seat covers. All switches and gauges work except for the clock. Original heater controls work smoothly. Windshield wipers and washers work. Door panels, inner handles, window handles and arm rest are in good shape . (original equipment ) Windows roll up and down as new. New Battery. New Brake pads front and shoes on rear. New Braded Brake lines. Rebuilt Webber carburator FLAWS: There are two paint scratches about an inch long on left fenders. Two paint cracks on front of car.( easy to repair) Carburator has no choke. Minor dents in lower front belly pan - only visable at ground level. Driver side door lock not working. MOTOR: New motor , block built by Opel Gt Source California. New 2.0L high dome pistons. New bearings . Rod and crank. New water pump. New Water Hoses All new gaskets. New clutch and pressure plate. New throw out bearing. Good 4 Speed transmission. New points, condenser amd roter cap New plugs and wires Polished valve cover. New exaust pipe. EXTRAS All light sockets have been cleaned and working. A complete short block with pistons , rods and etc. Bell housing Many other hard parts to locate. LOGESTICS: Bids from users with feedback lower than 10 are not welcome. This car was my toy and I did almost all of the work to perfection and was planning to just show it but times cahnge and when you are over 75 its time to sit back and let someone else enjoy this great vehicle. Just needs a little more attention and pampering. It has a new motor and it's not even broke in . I don't think it would be ready for a twelve hour highway trip , but who knows.
