If you’ve been wanting an AWD BMW wagon but don’t want to spend $27,000 for a used one and $40k+ for a new one one but you still want all the good options and a well cared for one then this car may be what you’ve been waiting for. Mechanically this indestructible 3.0L inline 6-cylinder engine provides amazing power and reliability (why do you think they are still using it and have been since early 2000. No smoke or blow by when warm or cold. The 6-speed tip tronic transmission has a crisp shift with no signs of wear as most the mileage was highway. Straight alignment and the steering is tight. Brakes also feel good without pulsing or pulling. 4,000 miles ago I had 4 new Continental tires installed with alignment, new rear rotors and pads, new Castrol Synthetic oil change, new battery and PA state inspection done. $1,900 bill. Exhaust, tie rods, lighting and everything else for PA specks is above par and it’s currently Inspected until Jan/2011. Undercarriage is clean and without leaks. This car is in superb mechanical shape. Cosmetically it’s the same way, nice. Clean straight body panels and paint. Shines very well and was just professionally detailed. It does have a few flaws but all very normal; small stone chips around the car mainly on the front hood and bumper, one or two minute door dings that you have to squat down to see. It is a 100k mile car with all original paint, I don’t want to scare anyone off, it’s truly a nice car but I want to disclose everything. The interior is near mint. Leather is all plush without wear out or cracks, carpets, headliner, door panels are all very clean without damage. Has heated seats, owners manual and two sets of keys. Two sets of mats, factory carpet and rubber slush mats all BWM brand. Cargo area is even very clean with BMW rubber cargo floor mat. I have a set of BMW mud flaps that go with the car that were never installed. This has been my wife’s personal driver for the last 6 months and I put my 2 year old son in the car, it’s honestly a great car, she just needs something a little bigger.
