Vehicle Detail

1967 GTO Sport Coupe. Paint is Mariner Turquoise. Complete clear coat professionally Buffed & Polished last spring when fixing a few minor nicks. Engine is a 1966 389 with a strong build, sounds and runs great. The engine compartment has been detailed including new 400 valve covers, HO style air cleaner. Recently installed a Q jet manifold, new Q jet carburator, distributor, fuel pump and pwer steering pump. New rebuilt radiator. All wheel cylinders have been replaced. All new ball joints, idler arm and center link within the last four years. Exhaust four years old - sounds great. No issues. The Rally II wheels were bead blasted, epoxy primed and painted with Eastwood wheel paint and tires have less than 200 miles on them.. It has a new bumper on the front and original on the rear, in excellent shape. The interior has just been professionally redone with all authentic Pontiac Year One parts (seat covers, roof liner, pads, carpet, floor sound deadener, springs, door panels, etc). All other parts (GTO emblems, steering wheel, dash, console and all other parts original 1967 Pontiac GTO. Interior cost = $5,000. It also has factory rally guages with tach. The four speed transmission is an M22. The car runs great. When I found this car in 2002 it had been in storage since 1980. It had very little rust on it. I replaced the lower quarter on the passenger side, a small portion of the drivers quarter and a spot in the trunk. The frame had been undercoated as well and the under side of the whole car, so there is no rust damage. The under hood portion of the AC had been removed and I have never replaced. It is ready for compressor and hoses. I have well over $25,000 invested in the car: restoration, parts, new interior - Again, I tried to keep this car as original as possible. All numbers align to Pontiac Historical Society. The car was originally silver with a black vinyl top, bench seat automatic with black interior. It had already been switched to manual by the time I bought it. I have restoration (frame up) photos to share as well. Please call me with any questions before bidding. A $1,000 deposit is due at the end of the auction, with balance due at transfer of title. Buyer is responsible for all costs and delivery of the vehicle. THANKS for looking. On Jun-25-11 at 15:27:27 PDT, seller added the following information: As I have mentioned in the question section, I have a ton of pictures to share. The car also comes with a professional cover, all manuals, the GM Master Build guide - which is a guide of every piece and component of the 67 GTO and the size of a phone book, misc parts I purchased at a flea market, trunk clear coat protector paint, mats, trunk mats, etc. I did not cut any corners on this car and will share all receipts for minor repairs: parking brake, air shocks, tune ups, etc. If you want the restoration photos, or any other photos, a quick video of it starting, etc, e-mail me at paulharbinson@me.com. Buyer to make deposit within 48 hours of sale and responsible for pick up. Cash, certified check or certified Money Order. Good luck and keep the questions coming. Paul
