Last year of Honda's legendary V65 series superbikes, here is my 1986 V65 Magna. Finished in Honda's "Candy Glory Red" color, one of the sharpest colors offered in the four year run of V65 Magna's. I have owned the bike for just over 8 years, and have put only about 1,000 miles on it in that time. Too many motorcycles, too many unfinished projects, and just not enough time are the reasons I reluctantly offer the bike for sale. Back in 2002 when I was searching for the perfect V65, I loooked long and hard to find a bike in this condition. If you are reading the ad, I will assume you are aware of Honda's V65 series bikes incredible performance, so I'll skip the details there. The paint and clearcoat on all painted surfaces is flawless. The Dunlop tires have less than 500 miles on them. No issues with the chrome surfaces, or exhaust pipes - top side or underside. The battery was new last month. The bike is just out of the shop for a carb cleaning & sync just last week (receipt included). It starts instantly, runs & shifts perfectly. Honda case guard and passenger backrest, as seen in the pictures. The prior owner installed the "top end oil mod" that you see in the pictures. The chrome wheels, sometimes a problem with flaking on these models, are perfect. I replaced the fork seals and rebuilt the front & rear brake calipers a few years back. Clutch & brake fluids are fresh. The oil & filter, and final drive oil have been changed each fall regardless of the mileage I rode the bike that year. I use Amsoil synthetic 10W40 motor oil and gear lube, along with Honda oil filters. The bike has always been garaged, and carefully prepped for storage each winter. No oil leaks. Underside of the bike is spotless. Tool kit & owners manual are all there. No scuffs, scrapes, scratches, or apologies. Hard to find one of these bikes in this condition. Just a few requests -- Please don't ask the reserve, as this is an auction. I've watched sales of these V65's in the past months and have set what I feel to be a fair reserve.
