Vehicle Detail
For sale is a beautiful, impeccably maintained 2002 BMW 330cic Sport convertible. This one has JUST the right combination of packages: Cold Weather, Premium, Sport, xenons and a Harmon/Kardon speaker system. It is Steel Gray in color (code #400) -- surely one of the most attractive colors for these cars. The interior is black leather with Brushed Chrome trim. Each and every feature of this car works perfectly. There have been a few, carefully chosen additions as summarized below. It has been maintained at Princeton BMW in Princeton, NJ. It has received all service, at the dealer, according to the manual, regardless of cost. It just underwent an "Inspection II", which is the major periodic maintenance, so all fluids and brake pads and filter are new, and there are 18,000 miles to go to the next one. This car has had all the usual E46 stuff done, as of May 2011, including new lower control arm bushings and new radiator expansion tank. The last was done strictly as a preventative measure. The tires have 60% of their tread left, and the wheels are balanced PERFECTLY -- I am obsessive about this. With the new LCABs and the ultra finely balanced wheels, this car drives absolutely as new. It does not have ANY parking lot dings. All the paint is original. Options: Cold Weather Package (heated seats, ski bag, headlight washers)Premium Package (leather seats; anti-dazzle mirrors; power seats with memory; lumbar in both front seats, etc.)Sport Package (stiffer and lowered suspension; staggered 17" M wheels, Sports seats; Sport leather steering wheel)Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) Xenon headlightsHarman Kardon speaker system with subwoofer The car's production date was 3/6/02. It comes with one remote key (in new condition) and one valet key. Owner's manuals, etc. are all there. The car is bone stock with the the following minor additions, all of which are easily reversible: the turn signal bulbs have been changed to silver, to avoid the "egg yolk" effectthe front yellow reflectors were painted to match the carthe antenna was replaced with a stubby aluminum unit -- reception is greata DiceLink iPod setup was installed, so that you have access to your iPod or iPhone and can control it from the car's steering wheel buttons (the iPod in the picture is not included) the shift knob has been replaced with a weighted, shorter one -- the same as you'd find in a ZHP except without the "M" logo -- this simple swap gives rise to a much smoother shift feelan adjustable clutch pedal stop was installed so that you don't have to push the pedal a mile -- it's a $5 item and easily removed if not wanteda factory M3 strut bar has been installed across the front shock towers -- this eliminates all trace of shimmy and cowl shake by providing a bit of added stiffness to the front endThe sale includes a factory wind deflector. In the spring and fall, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread -- it really keeps a still bubble of air in the car and if you turn the seats heaters on and direct the heat down to the footwells, you can comfortably drive in surprisingly cool weather. Shipping: Buyer is responsible for shipping. I'll deliver the car locally to the shipper, if they're unable to get into my driveway. The way this will work is: I want a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours. You can send me the remainder any mutually convenient way. Upon receipt of all funds, I will Fedex you the title, signed over to you, and one key, so that you can get it registered and insured before coming to pick it up (or having it picked up). Thanks for looking.
