Vehicle Detail
Regretfully i am selling off my long time project. I have a 1972 Green Grabber which was originally a 6cyl car that the P.O. had started a V8 Conversion on,Below in red is the message i copied and pasted from the guy who done the conversion.Tim,The car was originally a 6 cylinder. I bought a 75 302, 4 door for parts. The rear end, engine mounts, v-8 crossmember, and grille are from it. The car was a Grabber though. The front spindles are from a Granada, not sure of the year. The springs are from a 72 Cougar Xr-7 (stiffer) and have had 3/4? coil cut off. I also redrilled the front upper A-arm holes 1" lower as on the Shelby Mustangs. This lowers the car 1" and also improves the camber curve as the car leans (the tire won't roll under, but stays flat to the road). The car has sat many years outside and is in rough but restorable cond. (it is a true grabber after all with a Clear TN Title).I bought the car to use all the grabber parts on my 70 Granny Maverick,i have already done the trunk & spoiler swap. There is a Grabber Hood which is very rusty but could be fixed.Keep in mind i can sell it for scrap for $300 + but i hate to see it crushed. UPDATE ! Front Seats and all associated hardware are sold.
