Vehicle Detail

DUE TO THE WINNING BIDDER NOT BEING ABLE TO PAY, I AM RELISTING THE TRUCK AT AN EVEN LOWER OPENING BID! NO RESERVE!!! This is a very cool and rare old Chevy truck and it has the original SERVICE PARTS IDENTIFICATION window sticker w/ VIN to prove it! It was special ordered with just about every heavy duty and deluxe option possible. Some of the options listed on the original Service Parts Identification window sticker (see pics) include: heavy duty chassis, 454 cubic inch V8, Turbo Hydra Matic transmission, Fleetside short box, tachometer, Silverado equipment package, 3.40 ratio rear axle, sliding rear window, dual fuel tanks, all weather air conditioning, variable ratio power steering, soft ray tinted glass, speed and cruise control, comfort tilt steering, windshield antenna, AND special order custom red paint! This is the "Cowboy Cadillac"!!! I bought this truck privately from a wealthy Atascadero, California rancher seven years ago to haul another vintage car back from California. It has seen very few miles in Wisconsin. I have started it every other month and it starts every time and runs well. It could probably pull a house! The 454 is the matching numbers original with an after market Edelbrock Performer 2-0 intake. There is rust on the fender lips and some along the bottom, but nothing like a rotted out Wisconsin native. Exhaust is there, but getting rusty. The bed floor is wavy and pitted, still quite usable. The hood has a slight kink as most of these trucks do, I have not attempted to fix as it still closes tight. The AC is not hooked up, but comes with the truck. Cool fiberglass lid for the bed as well. The frame looks rock solid and arrow straight. Clean and clear Wisconsin title. The former owner described this truck as a "Camper Special", but I was told they only made them as long beds. There is a factory Camper data plate/tag inside the driver door. (see pics) The odometer reads 21,589 but it only reads tens of thousands. I was told the truck had an extensive engine rebuild about 30,000 miles ago, but the owner could not find the paperwork for the rebuild. This truck is easy to work on and every part is available and affordable. It is a powerful work truck or would make a great restoration or hot rod project. This is NOT your average 1970's Chevy farm truck, it is a classic, sporty muscle truck, well worth the effort. The truck is located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and is available for inspection during the auction! Contact me on ebay to set up a viewing. As-is/where is. $100.00 deposit via paypal within 48hrs of the end of auction, truck to be picked up within 2 weeks, remainder of selling price to be paid in cash on pick-up. Contact me asap if you have any questions about the truck or special needs for pick-up. LOW OPENING BID AND NO RESERVE!!!! 100% pos feedback ebayer so bid w/confidence!! On Jun-18-11 at 19:27:06 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: This truck DOES have the correct TWO piece heavy-duty drive shaft!!! I was incorrect when I responded to a bidder's question.
