THIS IS A 1982 BUT FOR SOME REASON THIS FORM WOULDN'T ACCEPT THE CORRECT VIN. which I've provided. I bought this car three or four years ago, locally in Nashville and planned to restore it but didn't have time. It starts quickly and runs and drives well and was licensed and insured through March 2011. In cold weather only, it is necessary to use starting fluid, but not in warm weather. After it starts once it's usually good for the day in cold weather. The power windows work. The transmission works as it should. The steering and suspension seem tight and the brakes seem to be fine. The door panels are in good shape but the seats are done. The carpets are original and as new with 928 overlays included but not shown. The dash is shot but I have a new plastic dash cover made for this car which I never installed which is included. I think the sun roof works but I've never tried it because the car has been kept out side and I thought it might not close. The headliner is fine. It was originally a gold color but somebody painted it white, that is all white, and poorly. The body is rust free and dent free. The doors don't sag and the bumpers are in good shape. The parking lights and turn signals work as they should and the headlights pop up and back down like they're supposed to. The headlights, however, don't come on. The instruments like the tach and oil pressure gauge work sometimes. The speedometer doesn't work at all and neither does the heater fan, or air conditioner. There is some sort of engine noise which I cannot identify, but it has no loss of power and sounds great. The car needs tires. The exhaust seems fine. I'm selling the car AS IS, WHERE IS. Weak points: Interior, heat, airconditioning, some electrical This car is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS (approx 40 miles west of Nashville) If you want to arrange shipping you will have to make the arrangements and pay for it. I wouldn't recommend driving it home because of the tires and the headlights. It's a good car to drive and mess around with. I've enjoyed it but it's the odd man out, so to speak.
