This is a very nice 1951 MG TD that was restored during the 1980's. It isn't a Concours d'Elegance show car, but it is a great driver that has been very reliable. The engine is quiet, has good oil pressure, does not overheat, and runs well. The clutch operates correctly, the gearbox works well in all gears. The body and paint are all good, but one fender had a small repair, and the color match is not perfect. The VIN number indicates this is a genuine Mark II, but the engine number is from a standard TD. The carburetors are the large 1.5 inch type from a Mark II and there are attachment points at the rear suspension for Andrex shock absorbers that came on the Mark II.
