Up for sale is a 1990 Chevy 1/2 ton pick-up. I bought this truck in a non-running condition as a possible work truck. I replaced the battery and starter and this truck fired right up. After running and driving this truck for a short time I discovered I was getting anti-freeze into the crankcase. This truck has a blown head gasket, cracked head, block problem, or if lucky just a leaking intake manifold / gasket. There is no way to know without removing the heads, or at least replacing the intake gasket . Due to circumstances with a new baby coming and a house remodel, I don't have time to repair. I did change the oil after finding the crankcase full of antifreeze, so this should be ready to run long enough to put on trailer, etc. The brakes also need to be bled, I replaced the brake booster, master cylinder, and right rear wheel cylinder, but have not had anyone to help finish bleeding the brakes. It will stop and has some pedal, so will be no problem to drive onto a trailer or dolly. All in all I think this is a good solid truck other than the top end engine work that needs to be done. The quick rundown of condition: Interior: Good condition for age of truck. Carpet and seats could stand some cleaning. Exterior: Very solid, no cancer around fenders or cab corners. There is a dent on the right rear near the brake light. Also the rear bumper is in pretty sad condition. Paint is Ok on most of truck, but the hood is peeling pretty bad. Shell has paint peeling and obviously does not match the color of the truck. Tires: 3 tires match and are in decent condition. Right rear tire does not match and center cap and beauty ring are missing from rim. Mechanical: All power locks, windows, and accessories seem to work fine. Steering column is loose where it moves up and down for the tilt wheel. Also has the brake and top end engine problems I mentioned before. Exhaust is broken of behind Cat, but actually sounds pretty good. Broken off pieces of exhaust are in bed, if interested in putting back on. It appears that with a little work this will be a good truck. It drives fine and seems to run great. I would definitely not recommend driving this truck until it has been repaired, as lower end engine bearings do not like antifreeze. I sold this truck 2 weeks on EBAY and the buyer never responded to any e-mails or paid his deposit. Because of this I will have to cancel any bids from buyers with multiple negative feedback or no feedback at all, unless arrangements are made with me before bidding. Thanks for looking, Matt
