Vehicle Detail

Selling my matching numbers 1975 Triumph T160V Trident. Start it and ride. Although not a show bike, it needs nothing to get a full summer of riding in. I have owned this bike since 2007 and now need to thin the herd as I recently moved to a home with a smaller garage. This bike is complete, original and currently shows 6,200 miles which I believe to be correct. Since I've owned it I've accomplished the following, working hard to keep it as original as possible: - Tank was coated internally and painted in correct 1975 White and Sunflower Yellow by Precision Painting of South Bend, Indiana. You can view the actual tank after painting at the following link: http://www.precisionmotorcyclepainting.com/about_us/gallery.asp?qr=&by=&pg=8 . The paint job on this tank is flawless and absolutely stunning. - New front fork tubes and rebuilt with new seals and wipers. - New front and rear stainless steel master cylinder bodies. Calipers rebuilt. - Refurbished head (valve job), including new pushrod tube seals. May not have been needed but it made sense to do while installing helicoil in center plug hole. Cylinder bores were still in excellent shape. by the way with crosshatching still visible. - New turn signal lenses (repro), new amber oil cooler mounted reflector assemblies. - Headlight bucket rechromed. - New front and rear wheel bearings. - New reproduction mufflers from England. - Tune up by Morrie's Place in August 2009 including carb cleaning, timing check, and a new side stand. Very few miles since then due to job relocation and subsequent move from Indianaolis to Chicago area. - Have parts catalog, OEM manual (reproduction), Haynes manual, new peg rubbers, decal reproduction kit and a few other used and new parts that will be sold with the bike. - Other facts and features: - Tires are Dunlop Speedmaster TT100's with very good tread. Chrome okay but not perfect. Both rims have some rust, the rear more than the front. Frame and side covers have original black paint and were not disassembled. Hardware is original with some surface rust here and there. Boyer electronic ignition. Leaks a bit of oil. Starts within a few kicks every time (more fun kicking than using the starter). Just tickle the carbs, leave the choke off and kick it over. Tach and speedo work, brake switches both work as do all lights, horn, etc.. End of red kill switch broken off. Good battery (Walmart). Battery Tender Jr. included. For some reason, any key will work in ignition switch. Airfilter canister clip is missing. Clear Indiana title although registration expired last fall and was not been renewed. Lastly, the disclaimer: As with anything mechanical this old, it is not perfect and there is no warranty and the bike is sold as is. Please ask questions if you need more information. I will be happy to answer any questions or provide any additional information you might need. Just ask. Winning bidder will be responsible for pickup at my home just west of Elgin, Illinois. I will help to arrange shipping if necessary and may be willing to make a short road trip to deliver or meet someone halfway if necessary. However, any arrangements beyond a straight pickup should be made before you bid to make sure we can make it work. $500 deposit required via Paypal within 48 hours. Final payment before or upon pickup can be Paypal, cash or cashiers check. Thanks for bidding and good luck! Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. Here's the link.... http://youtu.be/FP-5BRTPmZQ . Not the best quality, but you'll get the idea. This was taken in April of 2010. Enjoy...
