Beautiful 1956 BMW R69. I purchased this bike in Northern California in 1982 and performed a full restoration on it. It has polished and relaced wheels, tires in new condition, all paint work repainted including the frame and air cleaner. Carbs and top end rebuilt, all rubber and cables replaced. The speedo is in perfect condition with only 10,600 miles on the clock. The shocks both front and rear have been rebuilt as well as all chrome rechromed. It has a complete stainless steel exhaust system which is factory whisper quiet and will last forever. It has the same shape as factory as well. I sold it a friend in 1990 who kept it covered in a garage and only rode it on occasion. He passed away recently and I was asked to sell it for the heirs. It is still in the same beautiful condition as when I sold it and runs like a Swiss clock. It has the factory Denfeld dual seat and comes with a 1,000 mile solo seat as well. It is original California black plate and the VIN matches motor/frame. The reserve is very reasonable considering the value of this bike. The early R69 with the small taillight is very few and far between. The bike can be picked up locally or I will deliver it to a shipping company in San Diego. I will not crate it and you will have to make the arrangements. I will accept $500 within 48 hours of auction close by Paypal and the rest in cash or cashier's check upon pickup.
