2001 HONDA ACCORD COUPE - EX-V6 Automatic with 186,000 miles I am relisting my vehicle due to a scammer with ZERO feedback that clicked my buy it now last time I had it for sale. PLEASE DO NOT bid on this auction unless you have positive feedback. This car has the following features/options: Leather Power Sunroof Power Locks Power Windows Power Driver Seat Kenwood CD Player with Ipod cable hard wired to the back of the head unit Infinity Kappa Perfect 6"x9" (rear) and 6 1/2" (front) speakers Viper Alarm and Remote Start Optima Red Top Battery AEM Cold Air Intake 6 month old Goodyear assurance triple tread (80,000 mi tires) all the way around All fluids changed by Honda dealer less than 3 months ago (brake fluid, power steering, coolant etc...) Timing Belt and Water Pump replaced by Honda certified tech at 115,000 miles (will need to be changed again in 30 - 35,000 miles)Wheel bearings, motor mounts and brake light switch have also been replaced by local Honda dealer. HID Xenon Headlights Oil always changed with Mobil 1 Synthetic Tinted windows all the way around slotted brake rotors with high performance brake pads AC blows ice cold and heat works perfect I am the third owner of this vehicle. I purchased it in 05/06 with approx 48,000 miles on it. I drive all highway miles for work and cover a large sales territory in East TN which is why it has slightly higher mileage than similar 2001/02 model accords. All it needs is a coat of paint to match the rest of the car. There is a small dent above the driver side rear qtr panel. It also has various scratches and rock chips on the front bumper due to the highway driving. The windshield has 3 rock chips in it and one of the rock chips has started to cause a crack to form so the windshield will need to be replaced at some point. I have been quoted $120 to install a new one. The engine is strong and pulls hard. There are no fluid leaks and compression is great on all 6 cylinders, however, the transmission is beginning to shift hard from 1st to 2nd gear. I hardly notice it because 90% of my drive time is on the highway with the cruise control set at 75 mph. I have read some articles explaining the 98-02 Accords can have problematic transmissions at higher mileage.
