I am the original owner of this cute Chrysler PT Cruiser. Purchased in Troy, Michigan in Spring 2002. It is the "Limited" edition with all the cool stuff...... heated leather seats and more. The car was lightly driven and well-maintained at the Southfield Road Belle Tire. It would have been a terrific deal, except it got T-boned in January 2011. It is being offered: AS IS For repair or parts Not driveable. When the new owner takes possession, it must be towed from Birmingham, MI 48009. What's good: Upgraded Goodyear tires, low wear Nice aftermarket black rims/wheels Heated leather seats Brand new battery, professionally-installed at Belle Tire in January the day it was in the accident Low miles, just about 72,000 New radiator in Fall 2010, installed by a Chrysler dealer in Ohio Starts! Runs very well and dependably! Lots of safety features: ABS, traction control, airbags "Wear" items have been replaced appropriately, including brake pads, bushings and more. Oil changes have been done responsibly. Well-maintained. I just adored this car!!!! Original owner's manual Clear one-owner title. If you're not familiar with the PT Cruiser, it's a neat car, very versatile! Excellent for loading lots of stuff inside with the seat configurations. Problems: T-boned on the passenger's side. Neither door on that side opens now The accident caused damage to the driver's side rear tire or wheel. The electrical system/alarm/locks was professionally-disabled by a Chrysler dealer. The alarm used to go off erratically. A/C is not working. Inside needs a thorough cleaning, having been a college student's car for a year. The driver's side visor broke. It flops down. It's being held up by a clip. When the new battery was installed in January, something was not done right. When the car is started, it flashes a message, "No Fuse" alternately with the miles on the odometer. The guys at Belle Tire will fix it. We did not go back to get it fixed because immediately upon picking the car up from the battery change, it was T-boned and became undriveable. The remotes need repair Bottom line is this: If you have the means to fix it up yourself, it's a dandy little car with light wear. Alternately, if you have the skill to take it apart, there are loaded of excellent parts on it to sell. Now the details... You may view the car in Birmingham, MI 48009.
