Up for auction is a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It has 162K miles and seems to run pretty good and the transmission shifts fine. The front end feels a little bit loose while driving, but there no unusual rattles or anything. The 4 wheel drive engages fine. This vehicle can be best described as a fixer upper or for parts. The onboard display reads coolant sensor problem. Coolant is right where it should be and it does not loose any. It also shows that the rear hatch door is open, which I have heard is common. The body is in decent shape overall. The rear bumper has a crack in it and the bottom of the rear hatch door has some rust bubbling through. Other than that, it has a few dents and dings that a vehicle this age normally would have. The interior is in good shape. The leather seats show the amount of expected wear as expected. The steering wheel is peeling in some areas. I tried to picture any blemishes the vehicle might have. The tires are in decent shape and the brakes felt ok, although the abs light is on. My guess is there is a sensor problem. I cannot get the rear hatch door to open. It does feel different between it being locked or unlocked, but will not open. This truck would be great for anyone who needs a 4 wheel drive for short money or knows how to fix them relatively easily. Please email me any questions. Bid with confidence.
