For sale is my 1989 Honda Transalp XL600V. Very rare and unique bike only produced for two years. It was bought new at Bergen Honda, New Jersey in 1990. It still has the key chain and dealer sticker on the back fender. It is a very clean original bike, 100% ready for the road. Just received a full service at Honda including but not limited to, fluid change, new battery, new rear brakes, and new back tire. It starts, runs, drives, and stops like a new bike. All switches/lights/controls work as they should. The 600cc liquid cooled v-twin is a powerhouse. Very smooth, quiet, and fast. The motor produces no smoke, oil is always clean, and doesn't leak a drop of anything. These bikes don't pop up for sale too often because they are bullet proof, Honda didn't make very many of them, and the people who do have them don't want to sell them. There are a series of small scratches on the left side plastic from when it fell over in my driveway. Please view all pictures closely and ask all questions before bidding. I would love a local sale, but can offer several shipping options for you to choose from: 1) I will deliver the bike to Forward Air in Newark NJ and load it in one of their containers for a fee of only $100 that will include new ratcheting tie-downs and locks that will be yours to keep. You must make all the arrangements and pay Forward Air their fee before I deliver the bike. You MUST use their container. You may make your own arrangements and I will assist you anyway I can on this end. This bike can be loaded with ease on to any type of vehicle you send.
