2001 Honda 400ex

Up for auction is a 2001 400EX that is in good condition. The big bore head was installed two years ago and currently it has around 80 hours of ride time. Overall the bike is in good condition. Starts up with no issues, no parts need to be replaced that I am aware of and recently had the rear end bearing carrier replaced. This bike does have a lot of power. There are two issues with this bike, first when I start it up there is a small burn off of oil from the front of the valve cover above the muffler. I noticed this about a year and half ago, but never returned it to the shop to have it repaired. The bike rode fine and the small leak did not impact the operation of the bike, so I just let it go. This small leak could develop into something serious down the road, but for the last year and half it has not been an issue. The other issue is that the rear tail light broke and I did not replace it. You can purchase one here on Ebay if a tail light is required. This bike is used and as you can see in the pictures the plastic and paint has scratches. The bike has no warranty, is being sold with NO RESERVE and is being sold AS-IS. When you pickup the bike it will be in running condition. Matter of fact, you can ride it in my yard. The lights work good and transmission shifts with no issues. I must sell this bike, so the high bid will win regardless of the price.
