Up for auction is a BMW R1150RT. I purchased the bike last fall from the original owner and it had 21k miles on it. The bike is in PERFECT running condition. There are a couple of cosmetic flaws to the bike. There is a scratched area on the front fender as shown in the photograph and one of the valve covers is scratched from a driveway drop(by the original owner). After the drop he added cylinder protectors and you can't hardly see any of the scratches on the valve cover. I do not know the story behind the front fender. I purchased the bike in the rain and didn't notice the front fender scratch until I got it home. The bike was serviced at 24k miles by my local dealer Performance Plus in Memphis Tn. At this time the full 24k service was performed along with a flush/replacement of all fluids. I also had them install two new tires: Michelin Pilot Road 2's. I have really enjoyed this bike but have recently purchased a BMW GS and I hardly ride the RT anymore. The bike rides/shifts/handles better than new. This would make a great bike for someone that is looking for a slightly used and great running/handling RT. The bike has the following options: * Ohlins Shocks (Front and Rear) set up for a 230lb rider. These can be setup for different weights if you so desired. All you would have to do is send them to Ohlins with your weight. These were installed when I purchased the bike last fall. (a $1500 value!) * Cee Bailey Windshield * Techlusion Fuel Injection Controller * Mayer Custom Saddle * Givi Top box mount * BMR dashboard shelf * Garmin Zumo 550 lockable Touratech mount on shelf * HID headlight * Cee Bailey headlight protector * Fuseblock under the seat for any electrical items you may want to add * Brackets above the mirrors to mount aftermarket lights(light pictured are not included in the sale) I would prefer a local pick up but am willing to work with a shipping company if it is discussed prior to your bidding.
