You are bidding on a 1996 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 with approx. 162,000 miles on the odometer. I strive with all of my listings to be EXTREMELY accurate so that there are NO SURPRISES when you get the vehicle. I try to be VERY detailed in my description of all issues, whether mechanical or cosmetic, so you can be sure that all issues with this vehicle are described in the listing! I purchased this vehicle from a used car dealer in Clovis, NM. Features include: 4 Wheel Drive, Power Steering, Power Seat, Lumbar, Power Windows/Locks (with driver's side one-touch), overhead console, Leather, Tinted windows, Heated Rear Windshield, Side-by-side rear doors, Folding rear seats for cargo space, tilt, cruise, Pioneer CD Stereo, Full Size Spare Tire (not a dinky donut tire), Luggage Rack, compass in rear-view mirror, daytime running lights, Non-smoker It has a NEW ENGINE installed in November 2010 at 149,974 miles, so the motor only has about 12,000 miles on it! The motor was a $2,000.00 Chevrolet certified reman motor, bought from a Chevrolet dealership that got it from the Chevy Manufacturing Plant. The motor has an existing warranty that is good for 36 months/100,000 miles from the installation date. All paperwork on the motor is included. When the motor was installed, we also had them put in a new water pump and radiator. It does have a very minor exhaust leak, but this just causes a bit of noise. ABS on this vehicle is not currently operable, but has been quoted as being an easy fix (the cable needs to be replaced) and the mechanic quoted it at just under $200. It will also need a new A/C switch installed, the a/c works great, but there is a short in the switch and it has to be fiddled with occasionally. It also has a crack in the washer fluid reservoir that only allows the reservoir to hold a little washer fluid. This could also be easily replaced. The tahoe is white with tan leather interior. The leather is cracked a bit where the arm rest goes up on the driver's seat, and there is a small tear slightly smaller than a quarter in the center of the rear seat, as shown in photos. Leather is otherwise in good condition. The carpet is clean and in good shape, there are a few plastic pieces that have broken or cracked, such as the rear ash tray and the slide-lock for the jack. These are only cosmetic cracks and do not cause any problems or rattles. The exterior is in good shape, but does have a few small chips where a heavy storm blew some debris against it and it chipped the paint. The chips are so small that even close-ups with the camera can't detect them. The windshield has a large rock chip in the center, and a spider crack in the lower driver's side corner. The windshield repair man said that they could not be repaired, but that they were extrememly unlikely to expand at all because of the shape and directions of the crack. There is also a photo included that shows two small dents, about dime-sized, where a neighbor accidentally slung rocks into it with his lawn mower. The tahoe shows on NADA values to retail at $5,025, but I knocked down the buy it now price to allow for the repairs mentioned above. Vehicle is located in Yukon, OK near I-40.
