This Jeep runs and drives great. Has the bullet proof AMC inline six cylinder, which gets much better gas mileage than the 360 V-8. The car was repainted six years ago. At that time, all of the woodgrain was replaced as well. The truck shows beautifully, and gets comments everywhere I go. Some of the more recent work includes: Both rear quarters were repaired and professionally painted to repair minor rust. The previous owner had a keyless entry system installed, but it is only working on the passenger side. One soft spot about 3 inches in diameter near the rear door sill was professionally repaired with a spot welded metal replacement piece. This rust was caused by a leak around the door gasket. The door gasket was also replaced. The rest of the floors and frame are solid. Four new Cooper whitewall tires were installed in April 2011. Front sway bar bushings replaced. The A/C is fully charged and blows ice cold. New starter with a lifetime warranty from Autozone. New Virginia State Inspection in April good until April 2012. New AM/FM CD player installed. All other options work, including the rear window, cruise control and clock. The truck has a Reese Class III hitch with all wire connections in good working order. The Jeep has been garaged, but please keep in mind that this is almost 30 years old and has some minor chips and scrathes. It is avaialble for inspection prior to bidding in the Richmond, VA area. I've driven this two hours each way to the beach three times in the past two months. It runs and drives great. Oil was changed over 2000 miles ago, and is still right on full when I check it. I love these trucks, but I have three of these Jeeps and need to downsize. (Wife's orders!) The reserve is well below what I have invested in this Jeep. I will assist with shipping arrangments. He did not know the miles when titling it so he estimated in the 130K range. When I titled it, I added to his estimate so it would not look look like the miles were rolled back. The odometer is correct and the mileage is approximately 127300. It is still being driver occassionally, so it may be slightly higher. This Jeep is also going to be for sale locally, so I will end the auction early if it is sold. This has always been at southern car. First owner was in NC, and the prevoious owner and myself are in VA.On Jun-05-11 at 20:11:14 PDT, seller added the following information: The front seat and armrest have been professionally reupholstered. The color and pattern match the orginal seat. However, the cloth insert is a different fabric than the original seat and the rear seat. Looks great and is very comfortable. I replaced the driver side mirror. The power mirror switch to adjust the mirror fell into the door panel. The inside door panel will need to be removed to put this back in place.
