Here are all the details, ask questions if you have any before auctions end. 1957 Chevy 2 door Bel Air sedan (62,751 of this model built) VIN: VC 57N205672 (V=V8, C=Bel Air, 57=year, N=built in Norwood, OH, 205672=(take this # minus 10,001=this was the 195,671 57 built) Options: Tissue dispenser, Fender Skirts, Clock (these are still on the car)(fender skirt brackets are still on the car. Cowl tag: Style=57-1011D Body #: J 3382 Trim: 669 Black and Red Cloth Paint: 817D India Ivory and Canyon Coral ( I believe this was a mistake, the car has most of its original paint (black and white), you can see that it has never been painted other than someone used a rattle can to paint part of it blue years ago), the cowl looks to have never been removed either as the rivets are solid and there is still factory DumDum in one of the rivet holes. Good solid frame, Body has typical rust and needs patches to the floors, rockers, doors and quarter panels. The quarter panels are pretty straight except for rust near the door, these can be saved with front lower patch panels. The doors can either be skinned or patched, they do have some rust thru's on the bottom, the shells look restorable. The roof is very straight, surface rust and a rust thru on the rear near the back glass trim. Trunk lid is straight and has mostly surface rust. Axle has been replaced with a newer 12 bolt GM, unkn gear ratio. Stainless steel trim is valuable by itself as most reproduction stainless is not up to par to the originals. All are restorable and may have few small dings. Originally a 3 speed, manual brakes, windows, no A/C. Missing Front end. I have a set of v-8 heads and 4 barrel intake that will go with it. Includes a trunkfull of parts: that include door and qrt interior trim, xtra stainless trim, arm rests, exhaust manifold, radiator support side shields On the inside is an extra dash with good steering wheel, rear seat frame, washer reservoir(glass is broke but w/ bracket and top), rear bumper center bar & fender skirts. Clean title VIN tag is included but not attatched to the car. It was coming loose so I removed it before it got lost, it is not damaged. Call or email if you have questions or want more pics.
