Vehicle Detail
This is my 1990 ZR1 corvette that I have owned since 2006. I am the third owner of the car. The car has never been wrecked or damaged. There is only 49k actual miles on my ZR1 and it runs and drives excellent. The ZR1's were only produced from 1990 to 1995 with a total of only 6,xxx being produced over the whole time. The car comes equipped with pw,pl,pwr sport leather seats, pwr mirrors, rear window defroster, pwr steering, tilt, air, cruise, traction control, removeable glass top with storage in the rear, delay wipers, pwr brakes, digital cluster control center, etc... The ZR1 package also includes a body that is 3" wider in the rear then a standard C-4. This is done for the look of the car and to accomodate the extremely wide tires. The ZR1 also included the 6 speed manual transmission and the 5.7L dual overhead cam motor. The motor was engineered by Chevy and Lotus engineers. It was built by Mercury Marine. The car bone stock will run a boosted 180 miles a hour. All the tests I have seen has them 175-179 miles per hour top speed. You can easily find all kinds of info on the zr1 on line. My car is bone stock with no performance inhancements-not even exhaust. The last owner owned the car since 1994 and in 2004 decided she wanted a change. So she had her husband, who restored old cars for a living, put new GM 1995 ZR1 front/rear bumpers, front end side panels, and wheels on the car. This was to update to the newer and more desirable looking C4 style. He then painted the car with a two stage paint system that looks like it done at the factory. It has a silver base coat then magnetic red metallic over the top. This gives the paint great depth. Car looks great inside and out. It is not perfect but besides minor stuff like a few chips in the paint, interior very light wear-hardly any, seat belt light stays on. Only things I have done to the car is new tires(it still had the original tires-they were weather cracked, new battery, new starter, and a vats override. As said before the car has never been wrecked or damaged and it is great condition inside and out. It runs great. Unfortunately I must sale the car to pay it off. I borrowed 25k against it three years ago and I still owe $12600 on it now. I am loosing my rearend but you have to do what you have to do. I gave 18k for the car and put around another 1k into it. I am starting the price at what I owe plus the cost of the add starting price with no reserve. $12700 I have tried to describe the car to give a actual and factual account of the car and my situation so that you may understand that it is a great car and I am only selling it this cheap because it must go quick.
