This is a 2001 Porche Carerra 4 6 speed manual transmission. The exterior and interior of this car are in beautiful condition. I purchased the car from the 2nd owner with the intentions of fixing a mechanical issue with the engine. The previous owner stated that while driving on the highway, he encounted a vibration in the engine. He immediately shut the car down and had it towed to a Porche dealer. The dealer told him that the car may need a new engine or rebuild. I have not had the problem diagnosed but the car starts, runs, and idles fine. However, I have not driven it to prevent any further damage. The car has new tires, brakes, and rotors and has been maintained very well and has always been garaged. All miles on this car are highway communting miles. I have recently purchased 2 new BMW's so I am going to let this car go.
