Vehicle Detail
Hello, I just won this motorcycle less then two months ago here on EBAY shortly after getting the motorcycle home I became sick and spent the last month in the hospital. This was going to be my 1st motorcycle and it looks like what's going on with my health I will not be able to ride for a long while so i need to get rid of it. I do have a reserve just so I can break even. Below is the item description from the auction I won it in Thanks for biding. UP FOR BIDS IS A 1972 HOND SL350 ...let me start by saying this bike rides like a dream, the oil has just been changed and fresh plugs have been installed, it starts right up everytime and all the lights work as the should. the tires are near mint and the brakes work great, the front has a 21" front wheel and the fender has custom mounts on it to make it hug the tire nicely, the bike was restored about 5yrs ago the frame was repainted, along with the lower fork tubes and a few other misc items, the paint is 99.9% flawless. and the bike is ready to go, it has a custom flame paint job on it, that looks beautiful, and all the chrome on the bike shines up nicely, the bike only has a few MINOR issues that i would like to point out, 1st the tach works perfectly but is slightly smaller in depth than the speedo.. not sure if thats factory or if it was swapped out years ago, it's only noticeable if you get right uo on it it and stare at it, 2nd the seat fits perfectly and is in great shape but for some reason doesnt stay latched.. could just be a latch adjustment it doesn't effect the riding so i never worried about it 3rd once in a while the float on the left carb will stick and dribble a little gas out.. aside from those 3 minor items its an overall great bike and a blast to ride, PLEASE keep in mind this bike is almost 40yrs old and although its in great shape and rides beautifully, it's not a 2011 and shouldn't be viewed as one it has minor rust pits on the rear spring and other minor blemishes here and there. I have had this bike listed for sale locally and alot of people have checked it out and nit picked all the imperfections.. its not perfect but a real clean rider that gets alot of attention everywhere it goes...
