Vehicle Detail

You are looking at the best Porsche had to offer in 1997. The last air cooled 993 turbo. Most Porsche experts agree this car in its pure form was the best ever produced supercar of the era. This particular example is in its original pristine stock condition as when it left the factory in Stuttgart in late 1996. With only 32530 miles on the odometer, this car is amazing. The way it handles, the way the power is delivered to the all wheel drive system is effortless and balanced. Brakes are unreal, as close to a race car as you will ever be, but yet subtle enough to take your girl out to a nice restaurant and impress the mini van crowd. My car is Arena Red with Tan leather interior. Not many of these are available in the States, so if you are looking seriously for one of these, take a close look at this one. The only reason I am selling this car is because a baby is on the way (baby boy!!!). I am not in desperate need of the money so dont attempt to offer a rediculous amount for the car, do your research and inform yourself well before bidding. These cars have held their value very well, specially ones that have been taken care of. Original paint, original exhaust, original everything. This car has been garaged kept its entire life and it shows inside and out. NEGATIVES: right front fender has 3 small scratches from before I purchased it, the scratches were touched up by previous owner and he didnt do a good job (see pictures), 2 door dings that were there before I purchased it and are barely visible (see pictures) and the ding wizard can remove them easily. Some rock pitting to the head lights and hood, barely visible but common to these cars. Driver side door hinge makes clacking noise when opening or closing, that is due to the previous ignorant owner of opening the door too far, welds on latch from factory are very weak and break (see link to website for explanation), correct way to fix this is to remove the fender and door assembly and I am not about to do that because of the clacking noise. Positives: Incredible car at any speed, nearly mint condition, everything works on the car, amazing handling and stopping power, 100% stock and correct in every way. Original shiny paint. Original interior still smelling like it left the factory. 85% thread on Continental tires. Oil change was performed 800 miles ago by previous owner, I have owners manuals and some documentation of previous ownership. I beleive I am the 3rd owner. I have CAR FAX documentation available. This is a NO bullsh*t solid car, great example of German engineering and a thrill ride. (see link to youtube). These 993s will continue to hold their value and even might start to rise in value as the new Porsches get so technical and expensive that they are far from reach to those who dream ever owning one. New Porsches are a dime a dozen now, and their respective values are falling rapidly. Whoever is serious about owning this piece of history will take one look at my 993 and buy it. It is that sweet and solid. I am sure of that. Look at all the pictures, the car is in sunny south Florida garage kept, the car is available for veiwing by appointment only, no tire kickers or joy riders. I reserve to end this auction locally as the car is advertised locally. NO WARRANTY offered or implied. Please ask any realistic questions you may have prior to bidding, I will do my best to answer your question as soon as possible. Good luck bidding. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIs5h6aHsEM = 993 info starts at 1:36 of video. http://www.p-car.com/diy/doorcheck/ = possible door latch fix but I personally would do it right and not like this. *** For those of you who are looking into the car history report and wondering why there is 177 mile difference between the dates of 8/24/00 and 11/09/01 obviously the MIT college graduate at the state agency emissions test inspection facility entered the wrong milage. Again there is absolutly no issues at all with this car's title it is free of any rollbacks and free of liens and any other bullsh*it, I have the title in my hand and this is a 100% correct car with 32K miles on the odometer, PERIOD. If you need further proof then bid on someone elses Porsche. As I stated before reason for selling is baby on the way, so its a win win situation for me, worse case scenerio I keep this unreal balls out car in my garage. :) Happy bidding !!!
