You are bidding on one of the Nicest Chevy Trucks in the Country.. I have owned this truck for the last 24 years, and has just over 100K miles on it .believe I am the 2nd owner.. The sale of this beauty does not come easy as it has been a wonderful friend. !!. I get complements every day, as I have used it in my business daily. What a work horse and a pleasure to drive.. Three winters ago I decided to freshen her up a bit, that included a complete body make over and a high quality base/clear paint job.Nothing left un touched, the result.... my truck looks better than new !!!. The power in this monster is a '73 SS 454 big block fitted with 69 427 closed chamber heads, a "Redline" 282 hyd. cam shaft, edelbrock pref. intake and 800 cfm carb. Headman headers, Engine runs and preforms good but it is starting to use some oil. ( most big blocks do) 2 1/2" aluminized Flowmaster exhaust. The 500 plus ft. lbs. of torque travels thru a kitted turbo 400 automatic trans. to a 241 t-case. to a 1-ton limited slip rear axle with 4.10 gears. has proven to make a bullet proof package. 4.11 gears up front come in handy in the mud or snow, the factory Spicer hubs are still used. This is a rare Cheyenne Super Camper Special model, power steering and brakes, factory air, tilt wheel are some of the options.. Condition of this truck is unbelievable, fenders are near perfect as are the doors, hinges, latches, windows, dash. under the slip in bed liner you will find a near perfect bed a straight tail gate. A set of two inch Rancho springs raise the front just enough for the 33" tires to clear and Firestone air bags in the rear help with heavy loads. A chrome WARN front bumper carries the M-12,000 lb winch. In the rear a Heavy Duty chrome bumper and a class V hitch. The truck has a trailer brake controller and is wired for a potable 8,000lb winch receiver winch. Also included is a nice Pro Teck polished tool box and the gun rack in the back window. In side you will find a user friendly rubber mat replacing the factory carpet and a perfect folding bench seat the rest of the interior is original. there is many more details about this truck as I have serviced it regularly for the last 24 years and has been very reliable tool for myself and my business but its time to let someone else enjoy this piece of GM history.
