Vehicle Detail
1970 Triumph T100C, this is the 500 cc high pipe scrambler model. Have valid title. Very original and complete with 13,000 miles. Has the original gas tank paint and decals. One small BB dent in the tank, but did not want to lose the original paint because it was original with original decals and in good condition, so left it [see pictures]. Same with the seat, it is in great original condition so left it original also. The bike has been rebuilt/ refurbished including the following actions: disassembled, stripped the frame and coated it with Fusion Bonded Epoxy, black color; new shocks and springs, new assemble parts and many new miscellaneous parts like air filter, fork boots. Wiring is original. Front wheel is nice, back wheel has a couple of 1/8 to ¼ inch rust spots on the rim [see pictures]; the front of the front fender is slightly bent – [see pictures]; back fender is nice. Before doing any serous driving, new tires are recommended [always recommend that], but these tires hold air and have lots of tread, they will cruse the neighborhood just fine.. Engine was thoroughly checked by a local Triumph shop about six years ago; he said all it needed was new wrist pins, so he found an original set with original stock pistons and rings and installed them. He returned it to frame, started it and called it good. That was about 6 years ago and it has been in my heated basement ever since. I do keep fresh top oil in the cylinders so it stays free, but it has not run in 6 years. I just had knee surgery so am not interested in kicking it over to start it. May take some fiddling to get it running after sitting, but I am confident it will run fine and be a good motor. I am selling because I am getting too old. So it is up for sale for a low reserve of $1,500. Well worth more than that in hard to fine original parts. $500. deposit within 48 hours of end of auction. Balance when you pick it up. I can store it for a little while if I have the deposit. Can help your shipper load it if necessary.
