Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1986 Z28. The car is loaded with a lot of nice options. Besides the standard equipment it has T-tops that do not leak, power windows and locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, TPI motor, 4 wheel disc brakes with posi, A/C, etc. Please see the picture of the Parts Identification Tag to view all of the options this car has. I believe the rear axle ratio is 3.73. This car is extremely solid. I have not found any rot. The floors and underbody are rust free. It looks like the car was repainted a while ago and that is probably when the IROC decals were put on. You can see it also has '89 & up IROC 16" wheels. The car runs and drives and has a lot of new stuff. The gem of this car is what's under the hood. The original 305 TPI had a spun bearing when I purchased the car. I replaced it with a .030 over 1972 350 casting #3970010. I rebuilt the original 60cc 305 TPI heads to bump up the compression to around 10.5:1. The car runs very well and has a ton of power. It just needs a few more upgrades to take full advantage of the new 350 in the car like and upgraded PROM calibrated to the 350 specs. New parts just installed: Alternator Fuel Pump Fuel filter Water pump Thermostat IAC Valve O2 sensor Plugs Distributor cap and wires Knock sensor Temperature sensor Temperature sending unit Lower radiator hose Lower front air dam LH lower door hinge pin and bushings And a bunch more. I have receipts for everything I have done to the car. The interior is in excellent condition and only needs a new headliner and seat belt loop for the passenger seat. I have been driving this car everyday since the engine install and have had no issues with anything. I am only selling this car because my dream car just fell into my lap and I don't need 2 cars. Please ask all questions before bidding. This is an AS-IS, Where-Is sale with no guarantees written, expressed, or implied. A $500.00 deposit is due through paypal immediately at the end of the auction and the balance is due in 7 days by cash or certified funds. If paying by any means other than cash, all funds must clear before the vehicle will be released. I have the clear title in my possesion so the car is ready to go. On Jun-02-11 at 16:00:32 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to add that I still have the original #'s matching LB9 305 shortblock and it is included in the sale. Having the original motor will help increase this cars value as time goes on. I was told the motor spun a rod bearing. It spins freely by hand and could be rebuilt for not a lot of money.
