Vehicle Detail
1960 Jaguar Mark II. This Jaguar has been sitting for over 30 years. It was driven to a storage lot around 1973, parked, and covered with a tarp until. In the first few years the owner collected parts in preparation for a restoration. The following items were purchased and stored: 1. new front bumper, 2. new front bumper over-riders. 3. a used grille that is in very good condition. 4. The Jaguar hood ornament. 5. the grille center valance with emblem. 6. Four new hubcaps complete with the Jaguar center emblems. The Jaguar comes with several additional parts including set of windows - with both the windshield for the front and the windshield for the rear. Please look closely at all of the photos. I have super-sized them and I will gladly answer any of your questions about the car. My home phone number is (801) 745-0599. I will gladly ship the car anywhere in the world. On the positive side the Jaguar is almost complete. There are a couple of missing part which were stolen while the car was parked. All of the interior wood is in place and in relatively good condition. (The glovebox door was stolen.) All of the gauges are in place and so is the original Jaguar radio and steering wheel. The car body is in good condition with very little rust. There is rust in the passenger's side floor and a small hole on the driver's side as well. The engine appears to be the original overhead cam six cylinder Jaguar engine, but I'm not sure if it is a "number matching" car. Again, please look closely at all of the photos. I want the new owner to fully understand what they a getting. On the negative side the Jaguar has suffered from neglect. It is dusty and needs a thorough cleaning. The tires have very good tread and appear to be almost new, but have some tire rot from sitting for years. The spare tire still has the new logo on the tread. The passenger's side was damaged and has been repaired, but not repainted. The chrome trim around the rear windshield is missing. The front windshield trim is complete and in the trunk. The car rolls, but has not been started for decades. The air-cleaner is missing along with the battery. (I have not attempted to get the car started.) I have too many projects and this car needs to go to someone looking for a restoration project. The reserve on the car is very low. If you have less than 10 positive feedbacks in your Ebay feedback score, please call or email me before bidding. I want this to be a good straightforward auction on a classic old Jaguar. A $500.00 PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours after the auction closes. Good luck bidding and I hope the car goes to someone who is looking for a classic old Jag to restore. On Jun-02-11 at 13:35:10 PDT, seller added the following information: An Ebay member asked about the title. I have a clear Utah title in my name.
