1969 Chevrolet c-10 just redone five years ago. I bought this truck just before I started a seasonal job and therefore in the past five years I have only about a thousand miles on it. The truck has been stored in a heated garage and started on occasion. The truck is still mechanically sound and has very few blemishes as you can see in the pics. The only problem with the body is a small amount of rust on the driver door frame (see pics) and scratches on the rocker panel where the door was shut on something (also see pics). Other than that there is a bit of rust on the exhaust manifolds (from sitting). The truck was undercoated and is not rotted anywhere. After five years of sitting i would not hesitate to just wash it up and hit the auto shows. The paint has not fadded at all!!! The engine is a 350 and is the original engine minus the carb. I just started it for the first time this year and all it took was one complete revolution and it was running with absolutely no smoke or even ticking (wich chevys are known for). Furthermore, I have put the center back on the steering wheel (if you noticed it missing) I removed it last year when the truck was out last because the wire fell off and was sounding the horn, no worries though it was just a loose connection and is as good as new again. Lastly, I have found all the reciepts that I recieved with the truck when I purchased it and they total just about $20,000.oo you will also recieve these reciepts with the truck.
