Vehicle Detail

Hi guys, I'm listing my '72 for sale. If you are looking for a Bronco to drive mostly on paved roads, or to work and back, this one would be a good choice. It runs well and since replacing several key steering components, it drives well too. I invite any any of you in the area to come check it out. We'll take it for a spin. I'm in no hurry to sell, I just need to get a more practical vehicle before September when my wife's commute will change drastically. We carpool to work now, so we've only needed one commuter car. However, that isn't going to last forever. Details: 4 inch suspension lift. Replacement front coils, add a leaf in rear. Plus previous owner added blocks to the back as the lift initially raised the front more than the rear.33 X 12.5 Firestone Destination AT, 5 spoke 15" wheels.Anti Sway bar, front and back.Engine:?Original block, crank and rods. Machine work done by Randy's Engine and Machine in Utah. Keith Black 9.5 to 1 flat top pistons. World Products Roush racing 180cc heads. Comp 260 H cam. Edlebrock performer intake. Headman headers. Mallory unilte ignition. Carter AFB carb 625 cfm. New water pump, fuel pump, radiator rebuilt. 120 amp alternator.Body, replace rocker panels under doors. Front Inner and outer fenders. New Fender Flares on the back.Steel 23 gallon fuel tank in rear.Custom interior. JBL speakers front and back. Panasonic CD/MP3 playerKeyless Entry Here are several maintenance things I have done since buying the truck: Replaced all four ball joints with HD joints from NAPA. This made a huge difference in drivability.Replaced u-joints on front axle with HD ones while I was changing the ball joints.Replaced passenger tie rod end with Moog part.Replaced tires with 33" Firestone Destination AT's. They ride smoothly and quietly on the road.Rebuilt carburetor and purchased a calibration kit...yours with purchase of the vehicle.Replaced front fuel tank with JBG poly tank.Replaced all fuel hoses behind the selector switch. Also replaced hoses to vapor canister. The radiator is leaking a little bit. I have a new radiator ready to install, I just haven't gotten to it yet. Issues:The speedometer is disconnected and not working. It appears that the weight has fallen off the needle, so it won't return to 0 mph. The cable works fine, however. There is a guy in Utah that will refurbish Bronco instrument clusters for $50. His screen name is FallingDown on classicbroncos.com. I just haven't done it yet. If you buy the Bronco and want me to pull the cluster and have it fixed, I will. However, this would add approximately 2-3 weeks to delivery time. When the previous owner painted the vehicle, he didn't install a new washer fluid bottle or pump. I believe these parts total approximately $70 on the Jeff's Bronco Graveyard site. The radiator that is in the vehicle now has a very small leak. I have a new radiator and hoses setting in my garage. They come with the purchase. Videos:Here's a link to a video I made on Thursday, May 26: Test drive video: Included in the purchase:Original headsFull set of brake shoesNew radiator and hoses (if I don't install them before purchase)New gaskets for tail/running lightsNew temp sensor that will connect to the factory instrument cluster (right now there's an aftermarket gauge Here's a description the previous owner wrote for his ad on KSL.com. I just copied and pasted, so some of his remarks do not apply to my posting. "My dad bought this Bronco new in 1972 here in Utah. So it has been in our family its entire life. In 2002, I restored the Bronco to what you see now. I replaced the front inner and outer fenders as the originals had some rust on them. I replaced the rocker panels under the doors as they had some rust. The rest of the body is original and is in good condition. It has the original drum brakes on all 4 wheels. It does have factory power steering. It has a manual 3 speed transmission on the column. It has Dana 44 up front and a 9 inch rear. All ujoints were replaced during restore front wheel bearings were repacked with grease. Mechanic said rear and front diffs looked good.I had the engine rebuilt at this time as well. It is a 302. Mods to the engine. I had Keith Black pistons put in it 9.5 to 1 compression ratio bored .030 over. A Comp Cams 260 H cam put in it. Roller Rockers, World Products cast iron cylinder heads. Mallory Unilite ignition system. Heddman Headers to a dual 2 1/4" exhaust. Edelbrock performer intake, Carter AFB 625 carb with an off road kit in it. (The carb was recently rebuilt). The engine is very strong and runs very well. It has a 120 Amp alternator. Radiator was rebuilt, new water pump, new fuel pump. I added a steel 23 gallon rear tank. Front has the original poly 7 gallon tank, but it leaks so I do not use it (repaired by RG801). The over flow hose on the rear tank must have a crack in it as it leaks when the tank is clear full (repaired by RG801).We tore most of the body off and sand blasted the entire body and frame. The frame was painted in black with rattle can paint, and the body was prepped, painted, and reassembled by the body shop. Over all they did a very good job on the paint job. The yellow is called indy yellow pearl. It is a 99 honda color. The white is pearl white. It is also a honda color, but I do not remember the exact year.It has 32-11.5 tires on 15 inch rims (now 33's). Tires are in good shape and it has a matching spare on the back. It has a 4" suspension lift.Bronco has been kept under a garage all its life, so sun damage to it will be minimal. The interior is a complete custom job. It is beautiful. I spent over $4,000 on the interior. You can see by the pics that it is a one of a kind interior and is very well done. It is also all wired to add a couple amps for a stereo system. It has a Panasonic cd/mp3 deck. It has a auxiliary input on the rear for an IPOD. It has 4 1/4 inch JBL speakers in the front doors, and 6-9" JBL speakers in the rear. When the interior was painted the guy that did it broke the speedometer. It could probably be fixed by someone who new what they are doing, I was just never able to fix it. Because of that I am not 100% sure of the current engine mileage. I am certain it is under 5,000 miles, probably closer to 3,000 as I have not drove it very much.It has been driven on dirt roads more than highways. Because of that there are some rock chips on the paint. Most of them are on the rear fender flares as can be seen in a pic of the left flare. The left side is a bit worse than the right. There are other chips in the paint in a few places. Other damage. The hood has a crack in it on the left side. The left rear quarter panel has some surface rust bubbling the paint on the seam. The rain gutter on the top has a couple spots where the paint is bubbling, the pic is of the worst spot, the others are barely noticeable. The drivers side wing window is cracked, the body guy did that and refuse to replace it. The mirror on the drivers side is also cracked. Again the body guy did that and claimed it was not him.On the tailgate there is a hole on each side from the interior guy where he drilled in the wrong spot. Can be seen in pic.Buyer will be responsible for picking it up or arranging shipment. All costs inured in pickup or shipping will be paid by the buyer."
