California car 1965 Pontiac Tempest Mechanical is 90% new, interior and exterior need work. I have over $16,000 into this car mostly in Rebuilt motor broken in less than 100 miles of driving, 5 speed Richmond manual transmission, Global West tubular suspension. Car is tons of fun to drive, plenty of power to throw you back in the seat. Car handles corners very well. Moving and have no room for it. Engine - Pontiac 400 professionally built by a machine shop. Forged pistons, Eagle H-beam forged rods, Edelbrock heads, Scorpion roller rockers, stud girdles, Tin Indian valve cover spacers, High pressure oil pump, 6 quart Canton oil pan, Edelbrock manifold, Holley 650 double pumper carburetor, K&N air filter, single wire alternator, Doug Thorely headers, MSD distributor, MSD ignition box, MSD ignition coil, all bolted together with ARP bolts. Exhaust - Dougs headers, 2 1/2 inch tubing with Flowmaster 3 chambers. Cooling - high volume water pump, 4 core radiator, electric fan with shroud. Richmond 5 speed transmission w/ Hays street strip clutch, custom aluminium drive shaft. Suspension is Global West tubular set-up, front and rear. http://www.globalwest.net/64-72pontiac-control-arms.html Sway bars front and rear, almost no body roll, you can feel the road due to the fact that all the bushings are Del-A-Lum bushings. Stainless Steel disc brakes in the front, stock drums in the rear, rear end is the original 10 bolt Pontiac 3.26 ratio. New wiring harness and fuse box, American Racing wheels(salt flat). Left rear quarter panel appears to have been repaired with Bondo in the past, rear bumper has dent, the only major rust is in the trunk bottom, which is rusted through in spots. I have all the chrome pieces just not installed. The interior has new black vinyl panels all around, new door sill plates. Seats have been re-upholstered with generic material. Needs headliner, surface rust on ceiling. Clean title, currently registered. Come out and take a look at the car, I will be home all day June 9th, 10th, 11th. Car is located in Sacramento CA.
