Overview: PLEASE READ COMPLETE DESCRIPTION FOR THIS RARE 1970 351 M CODE MUSTANG This is a RARE Opportunity to buy and restore a classic. RESERVE ON THIS CAR IS VERY LOW. Ready for restoration is a heavily optioned 1970 Mustang M Code Mach 1 Fastback with a 351 C engine and Automatic Transmission. The original color is a special order paint called Deep Bue Metalic. I am selling some of my father’s long term projects. This is a car that we purchased from a collector who had started some work on the car a few years ago. We never got around to completing it. It is well worth a restoration. Completed M Codes are going for $30K.+ You can see from the pictures that the car was was disassembled to start the restoration. I’m putting together the parts that I can find from the original car. I have taken pictures of a lot, but will include a lot more to finish the project. I will list them in the description. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: The Car is a restoration Project. The Reserve is set at a resonable number. It is a 1970 351 M Code Mach 1. It has a correct date coded 351 Cleveland 4 barrel. Engine is complete, but out of car. Car is heavely optioned. It has an automatic trans., power steering, air conditioned, fold down rear seat, Rear sway bars. Tinted windows. AM Radio. Restoration was stated on the car a while ago. New buyer needs to complete, and to put it back together. I tried to take pictures of all the areas. Car will be sold with a Notarized Bill of Sale. I will assit in helping you in getting a title from a title company, but the car is sold "as is" with a Bill Of Sale Only. Mileage shows 14570, but I do not know if it is original. History: This car was purchased as part of a collection, we just never got around to finishing the project.. The car has the correct engine and 9 inch rear. I will incluide a auto trans with the car as well. Please note that I am familiar with mustangs, and I will make every effort too represent the car the best I can. DRIVETRAIN The motor is a 351 Cleveland 4 barrel carb. It is very complete as you can see from the pictures. I will include the correct Air Cond. Compressor as well. It still has all the original parts on the engine including the tags. The engine has not been started and is currently not in the car. Trans is out of the car as well. . SUSPENSION: The suspension is original; with the original 9 inch rear. All suspension parts are in place including springs, shocks, brakes and front and rear sway bars, All power steering suspension parts are all in place. . The car sits right. Tires are for transportation only. All frames and rails are in excellent condition. BODY The body is in good condition. As I mentioned it has the typical mustang body rust. There are small rust areas on both doors, and the rear fender has a dent in it. I will include a rear replacement panel and new wheel house to make the repair. The passenger door is rusted. I will include a better door with the purchase. The front and rear torque boxes are in excellent condition as well as all rails. See Pictures, The drivers side floor needs two patches. See Pictures. That is the only rust in the floors front or back. I will include some of the sheet metal to repair the rust. The seat supports are excelent. I will include all bumper brackets and supports. (see list for all parts included with car.) The rear torque boxes are excellent The trunk looks good overall. the Left rear down panel by the rear well was damaged and the rear panel in the trunk should be replaced by the tail light. I will include the rear panel and new wheel well. Some minor repair work was done to it a while ago. (see pictures) The rear suspension looks excellent with solid rails. I will include the correct hood scoop with the car. Glass is Tinted for the Air Conditioning, very good and complete. NO Clacks. Engine compartment has been cleaned and painted. EXTERIOR CHROME I will include bumpers, and all brackets with the car, all other chrome is in good condition. INTERIOR I will include the front seats, (need to be recovered). The dash is complete and has not been removed, so all electrical and heater AC wires and connections are original and in place. The Fold Down looks very good. May be missing a few parts, but easy to replace. I will include door panels, but they need to be recovered or repaired. I will include a lot of the original parts for replacement as well. Bumpers Door panels. and window parts. Dash cluster in car with clock. All still connected. Original Radio 351 M Code Engine Air Cond. Compressor. Seat belts Windows Sun visors Rear view mirror. Shifter Scuff plates emblems Plus any other parts that I can find from the car. Wiper motor and assem installed. Radiator Inside and outside mirrors. PAYMENT A $1500.
